Hi there! Let me introduce myself. I am Julie, Vanessa is my middle name. I was born in Colombia  and I was raised in Spain. I am a former pre-school and elementary school teacher. I say former because I left my teacher career to pursue my dream. I am a self-taught baker, and I like to refer to myself as a cake artist. I just love everything that involves using my creativity (cake design, crochet, photography, graphic design...); hand crafting brings me joy and spirit of achievement. 

Currently, I run my business from home, following the Missouri Cottage Food Law. I have a dedicated space for my baking studio. My dream is not just to open a brick and mortar bakery in the city, but to open a unique boutique  with a Parisian touch, where you can find the most gorgeous and delicious cakes and pastries.
